Farewell Campout

As per tradition, all the LDS podiatry families had a farewell campout at the John Johnson Farm the week after graduation. The weather was uncharacteristically frigid for May, but we all still had a great time.

The kids loved wandering around the campsite:

One of our friends, the Miskins, adorable twins:

Aaron Utterback and Elizabeth Brown:

Jarod Stanley with his kids and Stacia with her youngest:

Jessica Gerber and a bunch of the kiddos:

Everyone eating dinner and chatting around the fire:

A big part of the campout tradition is burning the "student" white coats, symbolic of the end of school and the beginning of "doctorhood"!

We didn't stay the night since we are leaving in a couple days for our vacation in Idaho, but it was still fun to stay for dinner and hang out one last time. We've had a great four years with these guys, and it was so sad to say "goodbye" (or "see you later"). We wish you all the very best in your various residencies and beyond!

It's fun to think that Brandon's year was the first to start that tradition--I hope it continues for a long time!
