Travis' White Coat Ceremony

This past Sunday was Travis' White Coat Ceremony. The white coat is a symbol of the medical profession, and so this ceremony was an induction into the medical world for these future podiatrists.

Travis' school (OCPM):

The OCPM Class of 2013, standing at the beginning of their ceremony. Travis' class is the school's biggest ever, with around 130 students.

Travis receiving his white coat:

Go Trav!

The students reciting their "Code of Conduct/Professionalism":

Each student lit an (electric) candle during the "Lighting of the Candles" ceremony, led by one of the campus Ministers:

After the Ceremony, the students and their families were invited to a reception at the school, where we mingled with some of the other new students.

(I thought this cake was really cool!)

Congratulations Class of 2013!

Our handsome future podiatrist!

Doesn't he look so professional in his white coat?!

Congratulations Travis! We're so proud of you, and are so excited for you to start this rewarding journey! We love you!
