Last Saturday, I turned around to see Grace (amazingly!) flipping over onto her stomach. Ecstatic, I yelled for Travis to come and see it. So excited about her new trick, we grabbed our digital camera to take a video, only to find that the batteries were dead...as were the next 4 pairs of batteries we scrounged around for (oh, the irony!). So, after letting some of our rechargable batteries get a little life back in them, we popped them in the camera and took this video:
(In Grace's defense, she had already flipped over several times--before the batteries were finally ready, and was now very worn out.)
It's her new favorite thing. Every time we lay her on her mat, we can expect her to do at least one roll over (which is hilarious because she's not a huge fan of being on her stomach--silly girl!). And she's just gotten faster and faster at it. The next video was taken last Sunday, where the flip went a little smoother, but today, she rolled onto her tummy in literally 5 seconds! And this other trick isn't perfected yet, but she did roll completely over TWICE yesterday (back to tummy and then onto her back again)! I couldn't believe it!
It's so fun to see her grow and learn new things, but sad at the same time to realize how fast she's growing (she's becoming such a big girl!). I just love this baby girl!

How fun! What a fast learner,too! How old is she now anyway? Hazel didn't do that until about 3 months. Wow seems like so long ago. Now she's running all over the place. Enjoy them while they're small while you can because they really do grow up way too fast! =D Thanks for the update.
